We weren’t the first to form a Santa Claus Bar Crawl. That honor belongs to San Francisco who organized theirs in 1994, which makes this year their 25th anniversary.
But we also aren’t exactly new kids on the block, having held our first Crawl in 2004, which makes this our 15th anniversary crawl.
San Francisco’s original idea has now spread to hundreds of locations across the world and they are loosely connected in a social network called SantaCon. That means that, if by some chance you aren’t in State College on Dec 14th, but would like to participate in a Santa bar tour, you have access to plenty of other options.
