One of the wonderful thing about the Crawl is how warmly we have been embraced by the various establishments that participate with us. Not only have we been welcomed by them but many go out of their way to participate. All of them waive their cover charges for Crawlers who have purchased our wristbands. That’s how we are able to raise funds for the Boland scholarship. Many of the employees of the bars dressed up in their own Santa outfits to celebrate along with us. Several of the proprietors put on their own costumes and join in along with us (see the aforementioned Steeler Santa).
But nobody does it quite like Ray Rockey of the Brewery.

– and here he is in another shot with his arm in women’s mesh stocking in high heels with a garter. I’m not quite sure what the holiday symbolism is, but, God Bless Rocky, it’s certainly unique.
I don’t know what Rocky has planned for this year, but it’s sure to be memorable.
