Earlier this fall, Re//Bar opened its door’s in the old Envy location. For those folks who don’t even know where the short-lived Envy was located, it’s where the old Crowbar was. Since the Crowbar closed about a dozen years ago, the location has gone through numerous rebirths. It was the home to the Cell Block, then the Mezzanine, then Levels, before becoming Envy a couple of years ago.
The current owner, MIck Dougher, a member of the band Giants of Science, wants to bring back the glory days of the Crowbar. Over the years, the bar become more of a nightclub than a live music venue. Envy was a Santa Crawl stop last year and we’re proud to say that Re//Bar has elected to participated this year. Some down during the Crawl and catch some live music.
