With ten days to go, it’s time to let everyone know where we’ll be crawling this year.
With the addition of the Federal Taphouse and the Chrome Liquor Lounge, coupled with the return of Champs Downtown, we now have 18 bars in our lineup. Specifically, those spots are (roughly from east to west): The Lions Den, Primanti Bros, Brewery, Adam’s Apple, ShandyGaff, Rathskeller, Mad Mex, Darkhorse, Phyrst, Local Whiskey, Champs Downtown, Pickles, Zeno’s, Allen Street Grill, Indigo, Federal Taphouse, Cafe 210, and Chrome.
As usual, the official start time will be 8 pm. We have four spots lined up to act as official hosts of the start (up from two last year). The returning spots are Cafe 210 and Primanti Bros. The two new additions are Champs Downtown and the Federal Taphouse. As we did last year, come 9 pm Crawlers will spread out to any of the remaining spots on the Crawl. All of them have been alerted to expect Santa Crawlers to start arriving around 9 pm. Many of them, like Indigo, will be opening their doors even earlier in anticipation of our arrival.
Wristband sales will begin next week. Tomorrow we’ll announce the specific locations where you can get them. You need not purchase the wristbands ahead of time. All four of the starting locations will have wristbands for sale, so you can wait until the day of the event to pick them up. If you prefer to get them ahead of time, you can pre-purchase them next week.
For those who can’t wait until 8 pm to start, we will once again be having Happy Hours in advance of the official starts. Look for an announcement next week detailing the Happy Hour locations.
