Saturday looks to be quite the special day in State College. In addition to the Santa Crawl, the Penn State basketball team will be hosting Princeton in their special Return to Rec promotion at 2 pm. Saturday’s game will mark the first basketball game at Rec Hall in 18 years.

In a wonderful “coincidence”, the promotional giveaway for the Rec Hall game will be Santa Hats. The first 3000 people through the Rec Hall doors will be getting a Santa Hat.

And that’s not all, several of us hard-core Crawlers have made arrangements for special Santa Crawl section. Look for about 50 of us, not just in hats, but in our full regalia. Should be a fun time.

Furthermore, given that we will already be in our suits, the logical next step would be to start the Crawl early. So stay tuned for an announcement of a Santa Crawl Launch Party to fill up the time between the end of the game and the official 8 pm start of the Crawl.
